I think the narrative (story line) for Blade Runner is of a person (Harrison Ford) finding someone and tracking them down.

I think the genres for Blade Runner is sci-fi because of the flying cars and spaceships in the poster and the futuristic buildings. Furthermore, I think there is also action and violence involved in this movie because of the man in the poster holding a gun close to him which could connote violence and action.

I think the target audience for Blade Runner is young teenage adults as it's more science based and not meant for young people.



I think the narrative for Scary Movie 2 is just a comedy of different other horror movies and making them more funny and taking the mickey out of them. 

I think the genres for Scary Movie 2 is Comedy/Horror.

I think the target audience Scary Movie 2 is for young teenage boys as it;s not that scary and is more funny than anything else.



I think the narrative for Uzak is someone feeling distant from someone and is broken.

I think the genre for Uzak is Mystery and Psychological

I think the target audience would be for older foreign people as the name "Uzak" is in Turkish.


 I think the narrative for I'M NOT SCARED is of a boy not being frightened of anything.

I think the genre for I'M NOT SCARED is of Thriller, Crime, Mystery.

I think the target audience is for young teenagers as in the poster there is a little boy.


I think the narrative for Sin City is of a gang going around killing people and being sinful.

I think the genre for Sin City is Thriller, Crime and Action.

I think the target audience is for older people as it has more violence in it and looks more filled with blood which is not suitable for younger people.


I think the narrative for Dead Mans Chest is of a pirate ship filled with pirates going around on there ship looking for treasure.

I think the the genre for Dead Mans Chest is Action and Adventure and Violence.

I think the target audience for Dead Mans Chest is for teenagers around 15+ as it's an adventurous film.


 I think the narrative for Bride and Prejudice is of two Asian people trying to marry each other but not being able to because of their families not allowing them too. 

I think the genre for Bride and Prejudice is Romance due to it saying "Bride".

I think the target audience for Bride and Prejudice is for young and middle aged females as its more about marriage and relationships. 


I think the narrative for Million Dollar Baby is of a independent strong female who tries getting rich by going into fights and trying to win them.

I think the genre for Million Dollar Baby is Action.

I think the target audience for Million Dollar Baby is for older people as it's more violent and gritty as the poster is in black and white.

  1) Find a distinctive  still image  and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson. The use of the high key lighting around Tom Cruise in this image connotes that the room he is in is all high tech and futuristic cause of how brightly lit the room is. Furthermore, the use of him wearing all black connotes that he's doing something sneaky and stealthy as the colour black usually shows mystery or death. The use of the wide shot also shows the whole background and the body placement that Tom Cruise is in which shows him balancing his weight from off the floor with a rope holding him up from the floor which could connote in this image an intense moment in time.
